Rocky Road Peanut Butter Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Triples cereal
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Heat syrup and sugar to boiling in heavy 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Immediately remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until melted.
    Place cereal in a large bowl. Pour peanut butter mixture over cereal, stirring until well coated.
    Cool slightly about 2 minutes.
    Stir in marshmallows. Press mixture in ungreased rectangular 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, using buttered back of a spoon.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Heat chocolate and shortening over low heat until melted.
    Drizzle over squares.
