Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. ground chuck
    4 cans (1 lb. 12 oz. each) tomatoes, lightly pureed
    2 cans (15 oz. each) kidney beans
    2 cans (15 oz. each) chili hot beans
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    8 medium onions, chopped (4 c.)
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    This recipe has been used for Bethel Chili Supper.
    It serves 25 people.
