Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried red beans
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in pieces
    1 medium onion, chopped
    7 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 bell pepper, seeded, chopped
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. tabasco sauce
    2 whole bay leaves
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place beans in dutch oven with sausage.
    Cover with water two inches above beans.
    Let beans boil a few minutes, 5 to 10, then drain.
    Cover with about 4 inches of water and simmer until beans are done and liquid is a little thickened, but still soupy.
    Serve over rice.
