Meringue Crusted Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

Set oven at 300\u00b0.
Beat together first 4 ingredients until forms soft peaks.
Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff.
Fold in pecans.
Spread mix onto bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Turn off oven and allow crust to dry in oven for 2 hours.
Cool on wire rack.
