Orange Chocolate Chippers - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. grated orange peel (optional)
2 c. flour
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar and cream cheese.
Add eggs, orange peel and vanilla.
Beat well.
Blend together flour and salt.
Stir in chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon 2-inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
