Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 small pkg. peach jello
    4 c. boiling water
    4 c. hot water
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. lemon juice
    2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
    2 qt. ginger ale or 7-Up
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Let cool.
    Combine hot water and sugar; boil.
    Remove from heat; add jello mixture, lemon juice and pineapple juice.
    Pour into plastic gallon containers and freeze.
    Remove punch from freezer 8 hours before it is to be served.
    Pour into punch bowl when ready to serve; add ginger ale or 7-Up.
    Serves 70 to 75.
