Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped red pepper
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. uncooked long grain white rice
Preparation
    Saute onion, green and red pepper and celery in oil in a small saucepan, stirring, about 4 minutes until vegetables are softened. Stir in broth, water, oregano and pepper.
    Bring to boil.
    Stir in rice.
    Lower heat and simmer, covered,
    for 25 minutes, or until rice is fork-tender.
