Maple Flavored Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water; stir until dissolved.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover; boil gently for 10 minutes.
    Remove from
    heat; cool lightly and add vanilla and maple flavoring.
    Stir only until mixed.
    Makes about 1 quart.
