Baked Red Onion - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large red onions
1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar (15 mL)
3 Tbsp. water (45 mL)
2 tsp. granulated sugar replacement (10 mL)
1/2 tsp. salt (2 mL)
1/4 tsp. ground sage (1 mL)
1/4 tsp. dry mustard (1 mL)
2 Tbsp. margarine (3 mL)
Preparation

Peel and cut onions in half crosswise.
Place side by side, cut-side up, in a shallow 8-inch (20 cm) baking pan.
In a small bowl, blend together the vinegar, water, sugar replacement, salt, sage and mustard.
Pour over onion halves.
Bake at 350\u00b0 (175\u00b0 C) for 50 to 60 minutes or until onions are tender.
