Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. raw rice
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
    1 garlic clove
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    5 strips bacon
    3 1/2 c. tomatoes, drained
    1 c. tomato puree
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Cook rice in 2 cups water with salt until fluffy.
    Fry bacon, add vegetables and cook until tender.
    Mix with rice, place in casserole dish and dot with butter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
