Turkey Goulash, Austrian Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 3 1/2 lb. raw, netted, boneless turkey roast or boneless, skinless thigh meat
    4 1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    3/4 tsp. (scant) white pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    5 c. onion, chopped very fine (use food processor if available)
    1 bay leaf
    3/4 tsp. or 1 cube chicken bouillon granules or powder *
    1 c. water *
    12 oz. tomato sauce
    2/3 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    *One cup of prepared chicken or turkey broth may be substituted for bouillon and water.
