Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. cabbage, shredded fine
    1 bunch celery, chopped fine
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. onions, chopped fine
    4 c. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. turmeric
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Boil vinegar, sugar and spices until sugar and salt are melted.
    While boiling hot, pour over vegetables and set aside to cool.
    Use after 3 days.
    May be stored in icebox.
    Keeps for weeks.
