Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. tapioca
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of ginger
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Bring milk to just before a boil.
    Mix remaining ingredients together in a bowl, then add with whisk to milk.
    Bring to boil and add butter.
    Stir constantly.
    Pour in 1 to 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour, stirring several times.
    Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
    Can be reheated in microwave.
