Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. shortening (liquid)
    1 c. nuts
    3 tsp. vanilla
    13 1/2 oz. pkg. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Mix first 7 ingredients by hand.
    Put nuts and vanilla in last.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Cake should look like it isn't finished baking. Remove from oven and spread marshmallows over top of cake.
    Put back in oven at 350\u00b0 until marshmallows soften and puff up.
    Don't let them get too brown.
    This should take about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 1 hour, then put icing on cake.
