"Mock Pot Roast" Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 thick layer sliced raw potatoes
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1 layer thick sliced onions
    1 layer thinly sliced carrots
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, crumbled over carrot layer (uncooked)
    1 qt. crushed canned tomatoes (including juice)
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Layer in order.
    Cover tightly with foil.
    Do not uncover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for exactly 2 1/3 hours. Remove from oven and let set, covered, for 10 minutes.
