Mock Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. crunchy nutlike cereal nuggets
    1/2 c. warm water
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Combine cereal and warm water in bowl.
    Let stand until water is absorbed.
    Combine eggs and sugar in another bowl Beat until well blended, using mixer at medium speed.
    Beat in syrup, butter, vanilla and salt; blend well.
    Stir in cereal mixture.
    Pour mixture into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until top of pie is puffy and golden brown.
