Always Good Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper, cut in strips
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
pinch of oregano
1 (1 lb.) can whole tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles (uncooked)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Saute onion, green pepper and butter.
Add meat and lightly brown until meat is no longer pink.
Add seasonings.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.
Heat mixture to boiling.
Put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Layer like lasagne.
Place tomato sauce, meat mixture first, next uncooked noodles, then tomato sauce-meat and noodles (be sure noodles are well covered by sauce).
Top with Mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Let set 10 minutes before cutting.
