Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices crumbled bread
    2 lb. sausage
    2 tsp. mustard
    2 c. slivered Cheddar cheese
    6 slightly beaten eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 c. light cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. Worcestershire
    dash of pepper
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Cover the bottom of a buttered 13 x 9-inch casserole dish with crumbled bread.
    Cook sausage in skillet until done.
    Drain off fat; blot sausage between paper towels.
    Mix sausage with mustard; sprinkle sausage evenly over bread.
    Sprinkle cheese over sausage. (If casserole will not be cooked the same day, stop here and freeze the sausage and bread mixture.)
    Combine remaining ingredients; pour over casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until set in middle.
