Soda Pop Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
strawberry pop
5 egg whites

Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar and salt. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add alternately with 1 cup strawberry pop to creamed mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake 25 to 35 minutes in 2 (9-inch) pans at 350\u00b0.
