Savory Pork And Apple Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7.2 oz.) pkg. rice pilaf
    1 1/3 c. apple juice or cider
    1 c. water
    1 lb. boneless pork or chicken breast
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 medium apples, sliced
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Prepare rice pilaf as package directs, substituting 1 cup water and 1 cup apple juice for water.
    Cut meat into 1 1/2 x 1/4-inch strips.
    Toss with combined seasonings.
    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Saute meat 3 to 4 minutes until no longer pink.
    Add apples and stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until apples are almost tender.
    Add combined 1/3 cup apple juice and cornstarch.
    Stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes until thickened to form glaze. Stir in nuts.
    Top rice with pork or chicken mixture.
