Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. raisins
2/3 c. sugar (brown or white or 1/2 and 1/2)
2 1/4 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. boiling water
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Add raisins to boiling water; simmer 5 minutes.
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; stir into hot raisins.
Bring to full boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat; blend in peel and juice. Pour into pie crust and dot with butter.
Adjust top crust; cut and vent.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 425\u00b0.
