Sausage And Rice Royal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 rib celery, chopped
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. rice
Preparation
    Fry sausage in skillet until lightly browned.
    Drain sausage on paper towels.
    Saute onion, celery and bell pepper in the drippings until wilted.
    Add water and salt.
    Bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add sausage and uncooked rice. Pour all into a greased casserole.
    Put lid on; cook for 45 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
