Southern Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
1 medium chopped onion
1 or 2 chopped Japanese peppers
1 Tbsp. baking soda
1 small bell pepper, chopped
2 eggs

Preparation

Mix with sweet milk until batter is stiff.
With a teaspoon, drop into hot grease until brown.
Drain and serve.
