Refrigerator Kuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 stick margarine
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 egg
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk. Stir in sugar, salt and margarine. Cool to lukewarm.
    Sprinkle yeast over warm water. Stir until dissolved. Stir in lukewarm milk mixture, egg and 2 cups flour with mixer until smooth. Stir in 2 additional cups flour with spoon to make a stiff batter (but not as stiff as bread dough).
    Seal dough in airtight container and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    Dough keeps for 3 days.
    Shape dough and place in 4 greased pie pans.
    Cover with topping and let rise until doubled in size.
