Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together and set aside.
    Cream shortening and sugar; add in eggs, vinegar and food coloring.
    Mix alternately dry ingredients with buttermilk into creamed mixture.
    Bake for 30 to 45 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean) at 375\u00b0.
    Let cool and then top with vanilla icing.
