Peach Kuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1/3 c. butter or shortening
    9 to 12 canned or fresh peach halves
    2/3 c. sugar or to taste
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sour cream
    2 to 3 egg yolks
Preparation
    Using a pastry blender, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and shortening to the consistency of cornstarch.
    Pat into a greased 9-inch square pan, building up edges so it will contain peaches and topping.
    Arrange drained peach halves on crust, dome up.
    Sprinkle with mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
    Remove from oven and add topping of sour cream and egg yolks, blended together.
    Return to oven and bake 30 minutes longer.
