Hot Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. bacon drippings or shortening
    2 buds garlic (optional)
    3 medium onions, cut up
    1 (No. 303) can pork and beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 can lima beans, drained
    1/2 c. brown sugar (light)
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Cook onions in bacon drippings or shortening until clear, about 5 minutes.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Cook over low heat for 30 minutes or more.
    Or place in baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 2 quarts.
