Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
2 c. peanuts (if raw, add 1 tsp. salt)
1 tsp. margarine
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar and syrup. Cook for 5 minutes in microwave on High. Add peanuts. Cook 4 minutes if roasted or 5 minutes if raw. Add margarine and vanilla. Cook 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Add baking soda and stir. Pour onto a cookie sheet that's been thoroughly sprayed with Pam.
