Easy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can water
    1 chopped onion
    4 to 5 sliced red potatoes
    salt and pepper
    grated Cheddar cheese (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix soup and water.
    Use Pyrex baker with layers of potatoes, onions, salt, pepper and soup.
    (Save soup for top layer.)
    Add cheese if desired.
    Bake uncovered at least 1 1/2 hours in low oven (325\u00b0) to keep from separating until potatoes are done.
    Use generous amount of pepper.
