Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    2 to 3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan.
    Boil until syrup mixture spins a 12-inch thread.
    Pour 1/2 mixture over egg whites (in thin stream), beating constantly.
    Boil remaining mixture 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add to egg white mixture in stream.
    Beat until candy loses gloss.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
