Apricot Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can apricots
1/4 lb. butter
4 egg yolks
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
5 Tbsp. water
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt brown sugar and butter in a large iron skillet. Blend until smooth.
Remove from heat as soon as it begins to bubble. Over this mixture, place apricots, round side down.
Mix the sugar, egg yolks, flour, baking powder, water, salt and vanilla together and pour over apricots.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Let stand in skillet a short while before turning upside down on large plate.
