Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cream or half and half
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 c. julienned carrots (1 1/2 x 1/4-inch strips)
    1/2 c. julienned zucchini (1 1/2 x 1/4-inch strips)
    1/2 c. tightly packed fresh basil leaves, chopped
    3/4 c. coarsely chopped natural California pistachios, divided
    1/2 lb. cooked fettucini
Preparation
    Microwave:
    Combine cream, basil, salt and pepper in 4-quart glass measure.
    Place in microwave; cook on medium (50% power) 15 minutes or until mixture is thickened and slightly reduced. Remove from oven.
    Stir in 1/2 cup pistachios and set aside.
