Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. whole milk
    4 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, milk and eggs.
    Cook until very thick. Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla, butter and the 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
    Let cool.
    Pour in a baked pie shell.
    Add meringue.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until brown.
