Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter flavored Crisco
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. coconut extract
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. soda
3 c. flour
Preparation

Cream white sugar, brown sugar and Crisco with a mixer.
Beat eggs in well until fluffy.
Add almond extract, coconut extract and cream of tartar and beat well.
Beat in soda and flour.
This dough will be very stiff.
Chill dough overnight.
Roll into walnut size balls.
Roll in granulated sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool on a rack.
Makes 50 to 60 cookies.
