Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients together.
    Sift together and add soda, flour, salt, ginger and cinnamon.
    Chill, if necessary. Roll into balls the size of a walnut.
    Dip top in granulated sugar.
    Place sugared side up on a greased cookie sheet.
    Do not press down.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 4 dozen.
