Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. grated squash
    4 c. chopped onion
    3 to 4 sweet bell peppers (can use one red for color)
    2 hot jalapeno peppers
    5 Tbsp. canning salt
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. pickling spice, secured in cloth
Preparation
    Add
    squash
    mixture
    and bring to a boil again.
    Spoon into jars and seal.
    Makes 5 to 6 pints.
