Lorraine'S Mock Sour Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour (rounded)
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    5 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook the raisins in the water until tender and dry.
    Add the milk, sugar, flour and salt.
    Cook until thick.
    Add the nutmeg and egg yolks.
    Remove from the stove; add the vinegar.
    Top with meringue.
    Makes 2 small pies.
