Thick Creme Fraiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine creams in mixing bowl and whisk lightly together. Cover bowl loosely with plastic and leave at room temperature overnight for the culture to develop. At the end of maturing time, the cream mixture will be tart and thick.
    Transfer to bowl and chill for 4 hours or longer in refrigerator.
    Creme Fraiche will keep for 2 or 3 weeks in refrigerator.
