Apple Crisp Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped, pared apple
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, beat egg slightly with fork.
Stir in milk and vegetable oil.
Measure and combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture to liquid mixture all at once. Stir just enough to moisten dry ingredients.
Add apples to mixture; stir until well blended.
Spread batter into a greased 9 x 1 1/2-inch round layer pan.
Sprinkle with Streusel Topping. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
