Scotcharoos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    2 c. Cheerios
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    6 oz. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Bring the white syrup and brown sugar to a boil.
    Add the peanut butter and stir.
    Pour this mixture over the Cheerios and Rice Krispies.
    Pat into a buttered cookie sheet or cake pan. Melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips and spread on the top of the bars.
