Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. tomatoes
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. toasted bread cubes
Preparation
    Cook onions and pepper in margarine until tender.
    Peel and cut fresh or canned tomatoes and measure 6 cups.
    Mix with all ingredients except 1/2 cup bread cubes.
    Sprinkle top with remaining bread cubes and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
