Quick Stew 'N Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can whole onions, drained
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed vegetable soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. diced, cooked beef
    1 c. prepared biscuit mix
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Brown onions in butter.
    Add soup, water and meat; bring to boil.
    Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix and milk.
    To make 8 dumplings, drop dough from spoon into simmering stew.
    Cook, uncovered, over low heat 10 minutes.
    Cover; continue cooking 10 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
