Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in syrup
    3 large eggs
    2 c. flour, sifted
    2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk
    3 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and boil 3 minutes. Spoon on semi cooled cake. Let set or can be refrigerated. Enjoy.
