Angel Flake Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cut shortening into flour.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add buttermilk.
Work together until well moistened.
Cover bowl. Store in refrigerator.
When ready to use, take out amount desired.
Roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut out.
Bake 12 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Makes 6 dozen.
Will keep several weeks.
