Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. heavy cream
    2 c. whole milk
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat milk
    in
    top of double boiler.
    Add rice and cook over water
    until
    rice\tgets
    soft.
    Add
    sugar
    and salt and continue cooking until thick.
    Add some of the rice to the egg yolks and beat
    with fork in a small bowl, then add to the hot mixture in double boiler.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Remove from heat and pour into bowl.
    Cool.
