Sherried Rice Stuffing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 onion, chopped
1 c. long grain rice
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. sherry
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. slivered toasted almonds
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. fresh cranberries
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

In a large skillet, melt butter or margarine.
Add onion and cook until soft and tender.
Add remaining ingredients.
Lower heat and simmer, covered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
Let cool before stuffing turkey.
