Gingerbread With Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. molasses
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9x9x2 baking pan.
    In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, cloves and salt.
    Stir in margarine, water and molasses until well blended.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake 40-50 minutes until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool slightly on wire rack. Serve warm with Lemon Sauce.
    Serves 9-12.
