Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. salad oil
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. shrimp
Preparation
    Saute vegetables in oil until tender; add tomatoes and seasonings.
    Simmer for 15 minutes; add shrimp.
    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes longer.
    Serve over hot rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
