Fermented Fruit Starter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sliced pineapple tidbits, well drained
1 c. sliced peaches, drained and cut in half
1 c. sugar
1 c. sugar
2 oz. brandy, rum or bourbon
1 c. sugar
1 c. maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half
Preparation

Mix the pineapple, 1 cup sugar and alcohol in a one gallon crock, apothecary jar or other wide mouth contianer, cover loosely and place in a cool spot.
Do not refrigerate and do not cover tightly.
Gases from the fermentation could cause an accident. Stir lightly once or twice a week.
