Unstuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 head cabbage
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, crushed
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In large, heavy pan brown meat and onion.
    Quarter, core and cut cabbage into 1-inch strips (about 8 cups).
    Add to meat, cover and cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage wilts. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
